D-I-S-C-O

Here they are, the infamous Disco Pants! These are a pair from Glamorous UK, because I didn't have the £70 available for the American Apparel pair! I love them so much though, before putting them on I didn't realise my legs could look so long!
They're very tricky to wear though, I was so worried about VPL or getting a muffin top, but as the night wore on I didn't really care so much.

My main advice for anyone braving these bad boys is to make them the statement. They are honestly the tightest trousers I've ever encountered in my life, and they should be the statement piece in any outfit. And wear them with heels, if you're showing off your legs, you might as well!

I saw some girls out in similar trousers wearing them with pelpum tops, which I loved. I chose to
wear them with my Topshop crop top that I showed you guys last week, and a plain pair of black heels, and my favourite pink lipstick! I like to curl my hair a bit when I go out, just for a change. Having short hair can get very boring sometimes, especially when you can't really do much with it, like mine.

So my birthday was an incredible amount of fun. The drive to Liverpool went off with only a couple of hitches, the sat-nav decided it wanted to take us back home halfway down the M65! I've never been to Liverpool before, and I'd really love to return for a longer stay! We went to Modo and then Baa Bar and danced (and drank) the night away. I really recomended the Baa Bar Bakewell shot, so tasty!

Going back to my birthday, I got very spoilt! My boyfriend bought me a Kindle, which I'm slowly filling up with all the books I want to read over the summer, and also tickets to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, which I am super excited for and can't shut up about!

(Proof that no-one can look good while drinking a shot!)

Studs, Skulls and Florals.

New Clothes Post!

I'll admit, I have a problem. Once I decide I like a trend, that's all I seem to notice when I go shopping. And as you might be able to tell from this and my previous post, I've got a thing for floral crop tops! So when I saw this beauty in the Topshop sale, I had to have it!

And here's a secret, I have lusted over this corset for months, but could never justify paying full price for it. So I was doubly lucky to find it for a fraction of full price!

So the sun has finally come out, and after a full day of working in a pub, I got home and got changed, and chilled out with a cider myself. I'm so glad it's weather for skirts again, so I can finally try and get a tan.Plus, the sun will be out for my birthday on Thursday, which I am really excited about, as I will be roadtripping it to Liverpool for a night out with my girlfriends.

I plan to wear this top, with a pair of disco pants that I've just ordered, and I can't wait to show you guys that outfit!

High Waisted

I don't know about you, but I love anything high waisted. It's one of those trends that's like marmite, and I can't get enough! I've got about a million pairs of high waisted shorts, but had never owned a pair of high waisted jeans - before now!

I really just wanted something different to wear with my floral crop top. I usually team it with high waisted (I'm getting so tired of typing that now) skirts, but I was getting quite bored using it in the same outfit constantly.

These are the "Kristen" pair from Topshop. Now I'm usually really picky about buying jeans, I live in my Levi's, but I love love love this pair! They were slightly too big for me, but a hot wash and tumble sorted it out, and now they're perfectly figure hugging, which is how I like my jeans!

And here's a closer up of my Lita Lookalikes! (I've taken to calling them my Litalikes). Actually managed an entire night out in these bad boys last week - without taking them off once!

Rhianna to design for River Island

It’s official! After months of speculation, the truth is out! Our favourite pop star is to design a collection for High-Street store River Island, and I couldn’t be more excited.
No one can deny Rhi-Rhi is well known for her fearless and risqué personal style, and her fashion choices always spring up high-street imitations, Topshop have even put her face on a tee-shirt, immediately creating a best-seller.

Rihanna’s no stranger to the world of designing. She designed a capsule collection for Armarni Jeans earlier this year, and the label released the design sketches she penned, anyone else think Rihanna could have a second career as a designer if she wanted? I was one among many people who lusted after the collection, but couldn’t dream of buying one of the pieces for myself.

But now us girls who are more high-street than high-end can grab a piece of Rihanna’s style. Rumours have been adrift since February, when she was seen entering River Island’s London HQ, and later in March when she confirmed she was debuting a personal clothing line. Today she released a statement on River Island’s website, expressing her anticipation for the collection. “River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”

Don’t grab your purses yet though girls, the collection isn’t set to be released until spring 2013.
