Maxi

So I finally bought a maxi skirt. Months after they were on trend, I know, but I didn't want to splurge out because, what if it didn't suit me?
I've tried maxi dresses before and they've just swamped my figure. I know, I know, skinny girl problems!
I saw this black maxi skirt on Boohoo.com but actually managed to find one on ebay.
I love ebay, and whenever I know exactly what I want to buy I go looking on there, and usually get it about five times cheaper.
So I wore this outfit for a birthday meal, I think it's just the right amount of casual without looking like I haven't made an effort. And of course, my favourite leather jacket on top because I wear it with absolutely everything.

New Clothes Post

Ordered these aztec leggings from Boohoo.com a couple of days ago and they arrived yesterday! Love the aztec print, I think I might team it with a longer shirt next time though, as much as I love them I feel a bit self concious without being a little more covered up! I also bought a pair of galaxy print leggings too which I will post soon.
My 'necklace' in this picture is actually an old headband that streched too big for my head, so I've been wearing it round my neck, with a collar to hide the elastic at the back.

I want to talk about my shoes for a moment! I have been lusting after a pair of Jeffery Campbell Litas, they're all over lookbook and I am a huge fan of big massive shoes.
The pair I'm wearing are actually from Daisy Street Shoes and are actually the best replica Litas I found. I did purchase a pair from ebay but within a day the colour started chipping. I've only worn mine around the house so far, I'm still getting used to wobbling about in them! I don't think I'll risk these on a night out but they're perfect for going for a few drinks or everyday use if you want to make an impact.

Bleaching denim!

I recently experimented with bleaching denim. As you can see from the above picture, not too shabby results!
These shorts were originally a really fugly shade of hot pink, and looked like something you'd see on an eight year old, not a twenty year old.
Before you start to question my sanity in purchasing them, you need to understand my longing for a pair of high waisted shorts that I could wear without tights, without exposing my ass to the world to see.
(I know this is a popular trend from the amount of girls I see in said shorts, but I prefer for my bottom not to be on display)
So these shorts are the perfect fit, but stayed in my wardrobe while I thought about what to do about the hideous hot pink.
The long and short of it all (pun not intended) is that this pair has spent the last 48 hours stewing in a bleach solution in the kitchen and getting some really wierd looks from visitors.
The result is exactly what I wanted, slight tye-dye effect, but it looks good!
